Refrigerant Operator I

Position Summary:
The Refrigerant Operator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the refrigerant processing department by safely handling, packaging, and moving materials. This role assists in the operation of plant equipment, including hydrotesting procedures and forklift operation, while ensuring all work complies with safety and environmental standards. The Operator plays an important part in maintaining accurate records, performing inspections, and contributing to the efficiency of warehousing and processing activities. By following company policies, supporting departmental needs, and fostering a safe and organized work environment, this role helps achieve production targets and overall company objectives

Key Responsibilities:
• Load, unload and move products, materials and skids by hand or using material handling equipment
• Operate plant equipment and perform cylinder testing and consolidation
• Display attention to detail when testing, labeling and logging refrigerants
• Assist with Onsite work
• Drive company vehicles for customer deliveries and cylinder swaps
• Perform daily inspections and light preventive maintenance on equipment
• Fill out and complete forms as required
• Effectively utilize company platforms for data input
• Operate forklift as required (Training Available)
• Ensure all work complies with Safety Standards and applicable Codes
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, suppliers, and customers
• Perform cross departmental duties and assignments as required
• Voluntary opportunities for overtime

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift 70lbs and stand for extended periods
• Forklift experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required

• Packaging & warehousing experience (Preferred)

Working Conditions:
• On-site
• Full-time
• Standard shifts with occasional overtime during peak periods
• Physically demanding; lifting up to 70 lbs required
• Exposure to warehouse/plant environment and equipment noise
• Must comply with strict health, safety, and environmental procedures
